(Hewson, 1988)
The Massive Federation Intergalactic storage depots have been raided by pirates, so the Federation has hired Cybernoid to evade the defence systems that lurk in the depot and capture the pirates. Cybernoid has a large array of weapons at its disposal - missiles, mines, bouncing bombs, and heat-seeking missiles, and a temporary invincibility shield. The graphics are a feast of colour and the music is quite cool as well but it's too short, only 3 levels then the game starts again from the first level.
C64 version had best music but was way too hard. This is blockier than the Spectrum version but retains its great gameplay and has the same music.
Spectrum 128K version FTW.

Seeing this game without the amazing soundtrack of the C64 version feels somewhat weird.

Yes, it was a joke... I assume the Spectrum-version was released first although I don't know for sure.

Judging by the emoticon at the end, that was a joke. Still, it's probably a good time to mention that the original C64 version of Turrican (or Turrican II, or Turrican 3; I can't remember at the moment) was released after the Amiga port.

>and yeah i used to luv this game asshole about 15yrs ago
So, you played it in 1993? You were probably older than five when you played it, so you're probably in your twenties now. I was under the impression that a grown-up would have better things to say in their comments than "maybe you forgot your glasses shit for brains". That sounds like something that a thirteen-year-old would write, not a person who's (maybe) gotten through college.
