I was born there and raised there until i was 13. it may be a piece of crap little town but I love it there!!! <33 and i would move back anyday. but for sure they need to improve on some stuff and develop a little more

from what i have heard it has been improved upon lately. Has a legit sports bar, misc stores popping. About as good as you can expect from a smaller population which mostly just consists of air force folks.

I was there from '87 to '92. When I first moved there I hated how desolate it was, I quickly learned to love it. I was there before the McDonalds, or the Pizza Hut, or almost any other place. It was still a great place to live.

Meh, Mountain Home's not bad, as long as you like outdoorsy stuff. Been here a little more than 5 years, and honestly might be sad to leave when my contract's up this summer. I dig Boise, and we're pretty close to some pretty ok mountains for snowboarding.
