If aikido is so impractical and useless in the 21st cntury, why is it then that the Tokyo Riot Police, called the Kidotai, insist their officers train in aikido? These guys are the people that are called for riots, when things are out of control. If aikido was ineffective, I don't think the Tokyo Riot Police would be using it.
