I adopted both my dogs from there. It's an amazing place. Everyone is so nice and the animals are so sweet and so well taken care of. I definitely recommend getting a dog or cat from there.

I would love to work here I am so sick of the shelter I work at now, they are so busy running down the staff throat that the animals 2nd. They have mangers who care more about picking fav staff then worring about the animals.

I LOVE this place because i met the people there and the dogs they are so nice and i have to say it is a wonderful place .And i'm getting a dog there for christmas !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't tell anybody enough, how important these places are for animals and how much more they are needed all over the world.

I live in Vancouver Canada, a very low income person, who's dream it is to make a place here like warl.org happen here in Van and everywhere else in the world.

I've been praying and hoping to win a lottery, right, to do what I sooo want to do which is to save animals and help other people. So anyone who reads this, send a little prayer my way. I want to help! Thanks.HOPE!

I do think this facility is fantastic. In my heart though - these animals seem to have the opportunity for a better future than those in other shelters in the area. I would like to encourage people to please check out those animals who are in more dire circumstances, especially loving adult dogs who through no fault of their own -- find themselves lost or dropped off, without much hope.

Do you take in animals that are in other local so called "kill shelters" and does all the population of Washington DC know that there is a resource such as yours when they have to give up a loved family pet due to economic circumstances or perhaps even the death of the animals owner? I have lived in DC almost all my life and have never heard of your shelter.I would like to see a local campaign to make all people of all economic conditions aware of your resource.

Great facility! Someone disliking this proves my hypothesis is correct that there are actually people out there who are so hateful they would even dislike cute puppies and kitties...

Absolutely wonderful!!!!! We live in South Carolina where so many dogs live on chains, are not spayed or neutered and definitely are not treated like a family member. Just to see how many people are helping at your facility makes my heart sing!! Hopefully South Carolina will have a wonderful place like this in the near future.
