I think people who consider themselves punk rock fans like Adam because he is a staple of what music should be at its core: artistic expression in a fun way that's available to everyone, no profit-centrism involved. I'm willing to bet that if you told any major punk group (Choking Victim, No Cash, etc.) about Adam, they would think he's a really cool guy...
