I am a 11 year old kid and I think you did not plug the cable to your acess point ( The place where you plug in your television )

dude this happens all the time usually its a low signal and its the comcast services failure

You need an ethernet cord. Hook it to your xbox.

Call your ISP for Assistance.

Try unplugging the power to the modem for like 10 minutes, then plug it in. It's cycling on & off trying to get and IP address so you can connect online. Could be due to a bad (loose or broken) cable line outside coming into your house. When the internet and phone dies, can you watch TV? If yo can, call Comcast and tell them to get their lazy asses over to your house and correct the problem. You're paying for this service. Threaten to switch to DSL if it's not resolved. Hope this info helps.

lol...that would have worked....but as i said before....they have came and resolved the problem....and it was the exact one you said....i had a loose cable from outside!
