The war on terror is a war that can't be won. There will always be terrorists. We're hardly even going after terrorists as much as we are "nation building". With everyone talking about the budget and trying to balance it on the backs of the middle class they're missing the real costs...endless wars and military spending, tax cuts for the millionaires and billionaires, corporate tax loopholes, the war on drugs etc.

I agree. I definitely believe that we cause blowback and I think there would be a lot of so called "terrorists" in America if anyone came here and did half the things we do to other countries.

I do really love this song and it's message and am a HUGE fan of Franti since back in the Disposable Heroes days, but...I have to ask if he would have written his Obama song if he had the hind-sight he has now. There are still troops fighting wars were they don't belong, aren't wanted and don't want to be. Bring em all home! Arohanui...Saru G
