I launched a few of these when I was in Hanoi in 2009 maybe you filmed it. They are in fact Lighted Kite Lanterns. That is exactly what they looked like and I was thinking then how funny it would be to bring them back to California and see how many people reported UFO sightings.

Those are primitive ideas that made sense when we had no knowledge and had to explain the unknown somehow...it's our nature (Thanks EVOLUTION!)
