I think what they did is just modernized the movie. The attitudes of the characters remind me so much of the original. I definitely plan on seeing this one. :)

In fact, nobody claimed to be better than you for your opinion. It might be helpful to explain specifically what made this film unworthy of criticism according to you. I am a 33 year old woman and even I thought The Dark Knight was better than this. Don't get me wrong, I love this movie but only a moron thinks anything can top Heath Ledger's performance as a The Joker.

Diane English wrote, produced, and directed "The Women" basing it on an original 1936 play written by Clare Boothe Luce. It was made into what is now regarded as a classic MGM film directed by George Cukor and featuring an all-star cast that included Joan Crawford, Rosalind Russell, Paulette Goddard, Joan Fontaine, and others.
