Firefighters join public workers in the capitol on Thursday, February 17th. Under the current proposal, firefighters and policemen were exempt from the financial concessions and removal of collective bargaining rights that public union employees would be subjected to. After I stopped taping, policemen and public union members came down the line.
@TheBrewskiBaby You are more ignorant than I thought! Really? come do my job for a day and see how well u do it......not only will I run circle around you I am in 10x better shape than you gauranteed. @jsodak I'm rich, I'd call a member of my private fire fighting force who'd beat the lazy public union boys there. And as far as September 11 is concerned, I am not a neocon and do not use it as an emotive subject to further my agenda.

@TheBrewskiBaby -- And, if Heaven forbid you are in an accident or your house burns down, who will be there to save your property and life? Wait for it....a union firefighter. If that is your attitude towards the heroes who died on September 11, then I wouldn't expect you to call 911 whenever you need help.

all good things must come to a end. you cant just lay up on your ass and let someones else feed you. stop being lazy and fight or get out of the way for those who will fight. the way i see it the talking is over its time for other ways to make ppl open their eyes. words and standing in the streets with a sign can any go so far.

Look up bls.gov - 60K is about what a dental hygenist makes in Wisconsin. Don't you think that the answer is education? Oh but you need teachers for that.

Fire fighters in Madison make 60K right off the bat and when they aren't away from the job (most of their lifes) they are lying around, sleeping and farting in the beds at work.
This is probably the most exercise they have had in years.

I had a front row seat to this outside as the firefighters, in their dress blues, marched out into the blue lights outside of the Capitol, down the steps through the people who roared and cheered booming into the sky. Chills ran up and down my spine. I wish every American could experience the rally that night. It changed my life! Thanks for posting!
