In my opinion this is his best album. Listen to Ralphe Armstrong on bass!! All spoke about the fantastic legendary Jaco P. or Stan Clarke in those days.Don´t get me wrong, I like all these bassists, but I wonder, why Ralphe never got the same attention and critical rewards within the Jazzscene. I´m also missing Allan H. playin´ guitar like here again...

@kingcrimson055 I almost forgot about this too. I have this album(cassette) and it is wore slap out! I was listening to John McLaughlin earlier and of course Jean is on there. Made me want to dig this up. Excellent stuff!!

Verdade... "sulrreal" foi foda, mas foi na boa vontade.. ele pelo menos tá na onda de curtir o Jean Luc Ponty... pelo menos é menos um ouvindo funk, pagode etc... Antes que venham me atacar, tenho 45, sou do RJ, rockeiro e "jazzeiro" e acompanhei todo o circuito do Parque da Catacumba e Arpoador dos 80, fora o acervo que tenho de lps e cds do gênero. Que bom que tem gente postando essa galera dos 80 que ainda fazia música...

@kingcrimson055 You're welcome Kingcrimson, I think this is Ponty's most effective song. The reason? the repetitive rythm! I guess being a King Crimson fan you know how effective repetitive rythms are, take "The Talking Drum" for example, the build-up rythm hipnotizes me every time.
