  • I've watched/listened to this video at least twice a day for the past week. I can't get over how effortlessly she sings the last section or how she sings the entire piece with such feeling. I am officially a fan. Bravissima!!

  • @freackjhonny ¿Como lastima que ya no pueda hacer mas, los agudos? desde cuando? si el año pasado la escuche cantar el aria de la reina de la noche con sus fa sobre agudos? Se que la han operado de los nodulos, pero tambien supe que salio bien! Por favor no me asustes!

  • que hermosos agudos..control resitencia..imcreible y esos pasajes finales quitan el aliento y naide los ejecuta como ella lastima que no lo pueda hacer mas pero por lo menos lo hizo una ves como ninguna otrra escuchen a las demas en los otros videos de esta aria y no hay comparacion, todas y cada una de las notas cantadas sin error...dessay eres la heredera de las mejores increible.

  • Ammirate di che cose sublimi era capace la Natalie prima che iniziasse a spappolarsi la voce con un repertotio assurdo! Lei dice che adesso è più espressiva;  a me non sembra proprio! Ascoltatevela in questa meraviglia di aria, e poi paragonatela con la Dessay urlacchiante di oggi: chi è la più espressiva?

  • Well, usually you get the recitative (Popoli di Tessaglia) and the aria (Io non chiedo eterni Dei!) together. That's why it's called "Popoli di Tessaglia... Io non chiedo eterni Dei!" but here we only have the aria. Its text is taken from Gluck's Alceste and it was meant to be added to the opera.

  • This music loves her voice and personality.

    And she in return is inspiriting this music.

    What a perfect match.

    This is the way I do understand Mozart.
