@grandlelex88 well I have the same problem...I played last night with the Frak Guitar and it's great trust me...I wonder if the SS 11 A has the same tone structure....SS11 is superior to SS20 witch is a hybrid !

Sounds thumpy, the notes dont break up and articulate like a tube amp

Thx for your answer...I thought that the Freak Guitar was a preamp like the Legendary Series (M1, P1, etc...)...

The freak guitar distortion pedal is going through a mosvale power amp and a digitech tsr 12 on bypass because the freak guitar is not a preamp. runninfg through a laney 2 x 12

i deciding whether to buy the ss20 or this pedal which is the most versatile i know the ss20 has its own clean channel but other than that which has the best bang for buck seeing as though there both at the same price is makes things a bit hard to decide lol

The freak guitar has more eq versatility. and is great. The ss20 is amazing on both channels. I would get the ss20 if I had to choose!

To finsh up on the previous post. I would also reccomend choosing 1 distortion pedal leave out extra distortion pedals in the signal chain. get a delay, and chorus pedal and wah pedal and you will have great tone.

sorry i messed up everything in the last question... I thought this was the ss20 preamp... invert the question.... would you chain this with the preamp?! or other amt pedal?! i play from classic guns n roses rock to korn... thank you.

I use a mosvalve power amp and use a digitech tsr 12 effects for delay and reverb, and my amt freak guitar pedal pedal or ss20 is the preamp.!
