A foam lesson on filling large cracks, gaps, and seams. This particular example is on an 18 1/2 foot tall foam tree. The substructure is 2" box steel laminated in 6" foam and then carved down and hard-coated. This was built for Spring's Awakening in the Black Box Theater at UNLV in November of 2010.

  • not wood glue... white glue... and its something like 70% joint compound 30% white glue... apply with latex gloves or brushes... mash in cheese cloth for added strength... good theater coat... but I wouldn't use it for an art piece finish...
