This is our ulitmate form(kata).
After practicing many disciplines of martial arts for fifty autumns, I have developed and emerged the Black Dragon Forms with distinct technical characteristics. The following 30 Chinese character meaning having been my summation of what is the true essence of the Dragon Style.

(1) Firmness (2) Suppleness (3) Lightness (4) Nimbleness (5) Speed (6) Deceptiveness (7) Elusiveness (8) Evasiveness (9) Vigorousness (10) Confidence (11) Adaptability (12) Anticipation (13) Creativity (14) Perseverance (15) Seizing & Controlling (16) Releasing (17) Plucking (with claw) (18) Chopping (19) Parrying (with bridge, wrist motion) (20) Shooting (with fingers) (21) Palming & Punching (22) Butting (with head, elbow, knee) (23) Pushing & Pulling (24) Canting (25) Tilting (26) Lifting (27) Twining (28) Snapping (29) Thrusting (30) Springing

Of these, the first fourteen (1-14) are the requirements for the body as a whole, each of which works in coordination with the mind. The next Twelve (15-26) are for the upper limbs, and the last four (27-30) for the lower limbs.

  • @IgorOgamer I'm sorry that I couldn't remember the name of this sound track as I dowmloaded it long time ago. I will try to find out and let you know if I find out.

  • when MMA fights allow appropiate timing for kung-fu, why do you think it is not utilized and why are there not any using this art of fighting in MMA?

  • MMA, kickboxing, jiu jitsu competitions have rules and regulations, it is a form of sport competition and many kung-fu techniques are prohibited.

  • Thanks a lot for sharing such a great video. The style is amazing as well as the techniques and performance.

    Thanks again and take care.

    Regards

  • I aways appreciate you kind words. Thank you again...

  • With great strength and beauty the dragon floats through the darkened sky.

Calmly waiting, hypnotizing and distracting its prey with fluid movements of hand and claw.

Then with lightning speed and precision he makes his strike.

Emotional intensity uniting spirit and mind with the body.

Deceiving kicks to all levels, dragon's grasp ,vicious elbows and wisping defense of the fluid windy palms allow the hunter to confuse its prey.

To live and fly another day.

  • @luxiniv320 I'd have to agree. Good luck, lux. Stay strong. Keep to the virtues.

  • @colaFRank I like to learn martial arts..the more I learn the more a grow proficient in skills and techniques, and it applies to myself (but also the control attained through training the body, mind and spirit), hence personal growth. this is something that pretty much every martial discipline gym or dojo mentions, is 'personal growth' its like the one thing every martial art on this planet has in common.

  • @tubephantom1 From your vast experience surely you are willing to provide a video of yourself doing something that would showcase true effectiveness. I note that while you favorite many, I did not see one video of you doing anything, showing your skill, or teaching another. It is easy to criticize with cruelty, even under the guise of respect, as you have done here, but harder to put yourself on the line for others to do so, as pcbd has done.

  • @tubephantom1 your a liar man fight me for proof

  • @shango1963 Great comment, imo. Prohibition equals restriction.

  • @luxiniv320 Personal growth?

  • bf2 song sia

  • wow i think i learned this without knowing about it lol

  • @tubephantom1 I personally disagree. You must remember from your own experience that in terms of effectiveness every form is useless because each physical 'situation' is unique and that a man this experienced would realize the individual technique and utilize that.

I'll admit the form isn't flashy, but that's a bonus. You can see the principles behind each of his techniques quite clearly, and from this you can develop your own ideas, and isn't that what we are supposed to seek in martial arts?

  • @CertifiedOddBall rules rules rules...without rules mma is pretty much crap. fighting and sports are different.
