  • can someone please tell me what im doing wrong!. Ive made sure the card is secure and in properly, ive installed the new drivers and dissabled the onboard graphics. Yet still my screen still says 'no signal' when I turn on the comp with the card in. Take the card out and the monitor works fine again? wtf. please can someone help me, ive been trying to install this for days. Its driving me insane!!

  • @MrDeano324 Do you get any video on the display, such as the system post splash screen or other post messages? Perhaps the graphics card is outputting a signal that is beyond the monitor you are using. Too high of a resolution or too high of a refresh rate. If you see things on the display until windows starts, adjust the settings for the graphics card using Windows Safe Mode. If you get beeps at start up there may be a problem with the card or it is not appropriate for your computer

  • did i see pci-e in there?

  • He mentions PCI-e right about the 32 sec mark.

  • He forgot the powercable

  • @MrDeano324 Do you put the monitor on the videocard or on the motherboard?

Coz some people think that they can use the same monitor slot from the motherboard when they installed the graphics card.

  • LOL! He showed 2 pci cards. This is because pci slots can have different keyings, which is common.

  • @daxeflame Crysis is an extremely graphically demanding game, therefore I would suggest RAM of a greater magnitude than two gigabytes (four or more would probably be fine) and make sure that the video card has well over 512MB of system memory. Even with those specs, you should try running Crysis at a lower resolution.

  • thank you your awesome!

  • how many mb is that pci express video card?

  • where can i find out what graphics card if best for my Asus desktop? I've tried looking on the Asus website and didn't find any information that could help me but maybe i was looking in the wrong place could someone please help me.

  • @daxeflame Maybe. Pentium 4 is a lil slow though.
