Classic GH - Laura finds Duvall - Pt 2

Robert and Slick look for clues in Laura's apartment while Luke comforts hysterical Laura. Laura explains to Luke that the dead body (Duvall) reminded her of the David Hamilton murder and scandal from a few years earlier.
The main reason I love this scene is because it shows what a talented actress teenaged Genie Francis was.

I have always been amazed by Genie Francis' acting ability.... but with this scene I am in complete AWE... she was just a kid... and so talented.. it's crazy. How they have not been banging down her door, offering her the moon to be back on GH is beyond me.

Was Edward involved in the Ice Princess issue, or did he even know what the capabilities of that thing were, in the wrong hands? Did he know that ALEX was involved with those scuzz bags (Cassidines!)

I remember this whole scene....I mean, the episodes. Sadly, I didn't watch as much of it as I wished; knowing what I know now, about Billie Hayes. It was only AFTER O'Reilly was killed and the soap mags mourned the character that I found out that I had seen her before......as WITCHIP00. I wrote to Billie, via GH. and got a lovely handwritten card from her. Those were the days!

Genie is and always will be a great actor. She and Tony make the perfect couple it was about time the writers put them together. They need to bring Genie back to General Hospital so Luke can leave Tracy. Luke and Tracy should never be together she looks way to old for him. And Laura is just right for him she can take anything Luke does and when Luke leaves Laura can handle it but when Luke leaves Tracy she just gets mad. Luke needs Laura.

Boy, did she have issues. It was a wonderful scene. They are classic. Why 31yrs for an Emmy? TIIC still exsisted back then too. I Love them and am glad I finally watched it. Thanx.

I remember this scene!!! I was 8 but I still remember it LOL. I love it. You're right Genie's acting was fabolous in that scene.
