Glendora PD Officer Involved Shooting - (4:20)
Ask any officer and he/she will tell you that there is NO such thing as a routine traffic stop
as the events on this incident prove. An alert Glendora Police Officer spots a vehicle driving
"blacked-out" (with no lights). The officer attempts a traffic stop and the chase is on. The
high-speed pursuit terminates when the suspect crashes the vehicle and flees on foot armed
with a shotgun resulting in a "998" (Officer Involved Shooting). The suspect was
apprehended after a four-hour search hiding in his home near the termination scene.
Note: the following agencies responded available units to the area: Walnut Sheriff, Pomona
PD, Azusa PD, Industry Sheriff, Temple City Sheriff, Whittier PD, Baldwin Park CHP,
Montclair PD, Long Beach PD (Airship), Cal Poly PD, East Los Angeles CHP, & Ontario CHP.
As such, several different channels are heard throughout the recording.
