Cyan (Final Fantasy VI on piano)

"Faithful retainer to his family's liege, with the courage and strength of a thousand men..."

Perhaps one of my favourite themes from the game; the samurai from Doma, Cyan Garamonde. He wasn't my favourite battle character, but i favoured his plot compared to the other party members.

A tale of sorrowness, loss, rage, nobility. I kept this in mind when arranging this... well it was more of an improvisation, with a little theme in the middle that all FF6 fanboy/girls should know. But yeah, ahh good memories this game brought, (I'm playing it as we speak...)

how did you get good with ur fast appergios

@chronosage1 Well, of course practice is key. Practicing scales, arppegios regularly would be good, but for some people, its tidious, tiresome and just a long way of time. Instead of practicing my scales, i'd try and find pieces that would help certainly difficulties that i had with playing arpeggios, but yeah it's a thing you develop over time :)

I guess try and practice your arpeggios in as many different ways as possible, so that your hands will get used to the arpeggios position :)

Great job. My favorite game of all time due to oh so much story goodness. Cyan was certainly not an exception... quite the opposite. I agree he's got one of the most moving right up there with Terra/Tina.

This is why Cyan was my 4th party member...the other three being Terra, Celes, and Relm... if only there was one more female character in FFVI xD

ooo - that was incredible! you're really racing away here with the skills! loved the tina's middle! man, i've missed so much in such a short space of time! as for requests - hmmm, well, 'a secret sleeping in the deep sea' from FFVII (i have a simple arrange on my account, i think that there is a cool OCRemix version too) - also balamb garden from FVIII. love both pieces - both quite simple, but oh so much there to play with and add etc imho.

As for the request, how about expanding on the piano part of Palm Tree Groove from Donkey Kong Country Returns? I'd love to hear a piano arrangement.
