TAPS, Ghost Hunters, Race Rock Lighthouse, Moving Chair DeBunked

TAPS claims a chair moves on it's own. 60 seconds into this video you'll see Grant sitting in the attic. The screen shot shows a pole leaning on the spiral staircase. It is this pole attached with wire/line that pulls the chair.

Discrepancies: TAPS overlooks (avoids) several key issues upon providing "evidence," to the Coast Guard.

1. The overhead light SQUEAKS & turns just before the chair is pulled all the way forward. No TAPS member comments about this. If the chair moving is paranormal then wouldn't this also be? Yes! But NO none of it is.

2. TAPS does not discuss what moves across the light at exact time the chair's pulled forward. Like the light above, they have no comment. It is AVOIDED.

3. On TV it appears to be only seconds between the time Grant leaves & the chair's pulled. They DO NOT tell you it is nearly 60 seconds. This critical piece is only available on DVD.
This provides ample time for the set up. During that minute you hear a thud, a shifting or movement, & a whack.
NONE of that is shown to the Coast Guard or the viewer. Any legitimate investigator would have called all these issues into question. TAPS cannot.
It would unravel the "evidence," like a fishing line.

The pole with wire/line crosses the light at the same time the chair is pulled. Jay decided to fish during this investigation & what he caught wasn't paranormal.

@JVRottweil No. He does not leave with the chair. His collapsable light weight chair of hollow aluminum & fabric was the perfect proper. Anything heavier would've proven to challenging for the rigging.

Everyone, who cares if it's fake or not. It's just entertainment. What pisses me off is some little jerk off decides to ruin the fun for people with a little imagination and creativity just to feel important. "I just completely ruined the chance of watching a show without being a dick and nit picking the concept of a simple show for pre-teens." Thank you all who can't just let things happen and let people have a bit of imagination.

I once saw an episode in which one of the guys films a flashlight turning on by itself. It was so dramatic. And after it happened it was like no big deal. If that had happened or any of the crap they pull actually happened they'd poop their pants. This show is soooo fake.

@bp3416 Yes, they pulled that prank a # of x's. There's a debunk on my channel pertaining to one of them. Fan CRY it's impossible to rig a flashlight. They make spy cameras the size of buttons. Think about that for a moment. A video camera as small as a button. But riggng a flashlight with a remote sensor would be impossible.
