This has nothing to do with 40k nor Warhammer fantasy. It was a request of a friend that asked me if I could paint his dragon. So I said yes. This is the first time I paint a dragon so I don't quite know how to do it. But it was fun to paint it and that is whats counts in this hobby. Myself I think that the dragon turned out well, but of course there are a lot of space for improvements.

Thank you for wathcing :D

Cheers

  • What has happened to the top of one of the dragons heads, it has no upper jaw, good paint by the way.

  • The dragon got hit when I transported it from a friend and the upper jaw got lost... sad but true :(

  • @CountJoe1

Yepp I friend of me broke it off by accident... :(

  • OK, thanks :D

  • grey/black or brown like the carapace in my videos would work, its just that metal on a organic model (like a monster or suchlike) stands out and is unnatural

  • Thank you for a good comment. This model isn't from any kind of gamesystem. You can buy these kind of models in a gothic shop or something like that. What colors should I use on the talons?

    Cheers!

  • thats an interesting model, do you know if its for a games system atall?

Its abit chalky in places, the orange crests could be a deeper orange, tongues should be a darker colour instead of flesh coloured, the wings are nearly the same as the rocks in painting, and dont use metal paints for talons!! But a nice job nevertheless.
