Nice but boring...

where do you learned it?

Does the patch allow for an automation when the pad doesn't detect the 'pen' anymore? SUch as mute? That would be an interesting way to play it - tapping it all over for different pitch.

you just reminded me that i have a wacom pad and that controlling shit in max/msp is a wicked use of it. thanks.

I'm glad to see that I wasn't the only person to immediately think "holy shit, that's cool and all, but couldn't you have found a more interesting application?"
Maybe you're just new to Max, which is understandable, the learning curve is fcking steep. I would like to mention though that that's not really FM... technically you are modulating the frequency of an oscillator, but just using an LFO. FM usually involves harmonic frequencies... or at least a modulator with an audible frequency

dude this patch is amazing, you basically made a Kaossilator!

Hi, nice attempt with the tablet. I am also a Wacom player and would like to gather and discuss with people of this community. Please, tell me if you're interested. -Nicolas

SO YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO FREQUENCY?????
I have a tech question, hope you don't mind- did you manage to get the wacom tablet recognised as an hid device? Does the tablet still act as a pointer or did you manage to get osx to ignore it as a mouse?

nope, still moves the cursor but i'm sure you can avoid that.

Cheers for the reply,
I'll keep looking, but no luck so far. Moving the cursor is fine it's just the mouseclicks that need to be disabled.

are you on osx? because i THINK you can disable it in the preference that comes with the driver inside system preferences.
