  • That's insane! Is it realtime, or prebaked?

  • Prebaked. It took a whole hour for just 30 seconds.

  • Oh ok. That's not so bad. How many particles?

  • 70,000

  • Wow, that's insane! How's work on Polluted Planet Extreme going?

  • it's still in the works, but there's still so much to research with these simulations so the simulator code still changes all the time.

  • I'm just curious, save for per-thread optimizations, what are you doing to get this to run efficiently? Anything shifted to the GPU? and multithreading going on?

  • ooh new video!

  • Impressive. Do you use sorting to spatially sort particles by tiles of the screen?

  • Ok, I'm glad to know you're still working on it.

  • Cool. :o

  • You should really focus on methods of optimizing these simple collision calculations.

  • wow, cool to see your still making stuff. Can't wait for next PP or sandbox release. :)
