Referring to these holy Indians is like an Auschwitz Kapo preaching on Sunday referring to Mahatma Ghandi and Sister Theresa. It's a simple thing to test a 'guru', - I ask it any Jehova Witness at my door. To be absolutely 100% sure I mailed him 4 times and phoned (his very nice and lovely sister who takes the phone but doesn't give his personal number) in Brixton - I phoned 3 times but without any answer. - So that is the answer. There's nothing in me that wants to eat meat with the awareness of the cruelty and violence in meat eating.Enlightenment is concerned with itself not specifically with world peace or love or violence.Plumbers aren't interested by default in gardening.The nature of compassion is not a why not ? in the Universe.The universe is full of suffered experiences through natural and especially vile human behaviour, and is likely to continue like that. Life and death and meat eating is shit...and...then?

I've been vegetarian for 10 years & vegan for 5, but Mooji's meat eating doesn't bother me. I'm surprised you've picked up on this & it appears to bother you so much..

I've sat at his feet many times & the only reference I've ever heard from him on the subject is that heaven is not just for vegetarians.

Psychologically I think there is an issue within yourself that you are projecting onto Mooji, & instead of facing your shadow side you are screaming at the mirror to change.
