I'm so glad that the A-EON totally respected the release date and released the Amiga X1000 last Summer, because it's so much powerful than a PC and so much cheaper, just like the Amigas in the 1980s were!

About 2011, AmigaOS needs quite a rework to fully support it, since it will be most powerful board
for AmigaOS 4. In that terms it will not be outdated for Amiga OS 4 / PowerPC Linux
By the price of 2000 euros for complete sys with OS (-monitor) target are fanboys

700 euros, not dollars. It is not a pre-order scheme because you can get a full refund AT ANY TIME prior to the hardware being shipped to you. Yes, "they spaced out of the date" but they are not the only company. Hope to see it 2011, while beta testing should begin now.
If there was no strategic partnership with Varisys and Hyperion, would be a scam, not the first one in the Amiga world. Patience!

The X1000 is just a hoax. It was supposed to have been released back in Summer. After VCF they started showing a printed paper picture of the X1000 motherboard mounted in a case at shows. Then A-eon came up with a beta pre-sale program and announced that would begin in November. November came and no beta boards but A-eon started taking money. Now it's the end of November and the beta people have heard no word from A-eon. Starting to look very, very scammy!
