On the still water trout scene, Dever Springs is the venue that all fly fishing big fish fanatics must make pilgrimage to. Set in the heart of rural Hampshire, it has held the rainbow trout record and still has the brown trout record. But there is more to getting a result from its gin clear waters than simply turning up and buying a day ticket as big trout stalking expert Graeme Pullen demonstrates.

  • Actually, it's me that makes the films and runs the site, so I forwarded your email to Graeme who replied.....

If you want to reply to this guy from Dever, you could,if you want, mention that we will be putting up a new one showing a deadly brand new fly from Sid Knight's dressing, called the Pearly Daddy. And it really is deadly. It won't go up for a couple of weeks though. Its done.

Graemes site is Totally Awesome Fishing

    Regards

    Phill

  • I copied you comments to Graeme. This is his reply.....If I'm about in November as I'm pretty close I might come down and show them some good spots. Also they need to contact Sid Knight Tel-01746-765407 and he can tie them some of the flies we use, including the special Graeme Pullen "Firebird". Mention also the Avington video on the site with the big trout stalking.

    Regards

    Phill
