In my experience the use of profanity in debate is a defense mechanism that you don't really believe what you are saying. So you think socialists are out of touch with reality? @reachmiami That doesn't sound like the same Cuba that sends teams of doctors to go to 3rd world countries to provide free medical care for the poor; saved Angola from the spread of aparthied- twice; cut off ties with Israel when they started to openly hurt the Palestinians. @rednemesis88 You forgot to say that I mentioned that about every 15 years, tens of thousands of Cubans flee Cuba and as a result of this, Cuba is missing 20% of what could have been its population. This is a fact and yes, people in Cuba are imprisoned because the US embargo has nothing to do with the fact that a Cuban national can't even have the experience of traveling to other countries for leisure because the government is afraid that most would just stay abroad. You're a useful idiot!

ReachMiami sent me a personal message saying that she wanted to respond to my comment about people leaving Cuba because she couldn't do it on this page. She claims that I'm ignorant. I have been to the island and have seen the revolution in action. The majority leave Cuba because of the effects of the illegal trade embargo. Yeah some leave because they don't agree with the Castro but I doubt that they were oppressed because if they were, Cuba would never let them leave in fear of them snitching.

@yayitogomez No tengo nada en contra de Arenas, sólo creo que defiende su postura pero también no se dio cuenta que lo usaban como una campaña más para el desprestigio de Cuba. Vámonos a Cuba para ver la realidad, pero no la Cuba de turistas, porque esos saben que poniendo cara de sufridos obtienen unos cuantos dólares para comprarse bobadas y no como en mi país (México) que los niños piden porque no tienen que llevarse a la boca.
