In this new video, SSG Ben Borger describes what actions took place on 14 Apr 2010. With the team work of the USAF's 97th Airlift Wing and many others the new record could not be possible. SSG Borger tells of his adventure landing into a unexpected farmers field. Thank you for your continued support of the US Army Parachute Team and the Soldiers of the US Army.

  • I've lost a few IQ points reading some of these bitch rants about tax money being spent... I swear some people have absolutely no sight beyond their fucking noses.

  • So, those of you accusing these guys of wasting tax dollars - do so blindly and ignorantly.

You have no idea whether or not this is a waste of money because you don't have an inkling of the scope of this activity.

Please... stop publicizing your own ignorance by attacking something you know nothing about.

  • @Semikindless Common knowledge in the military world that US soldiers are overpaid and pampered, but even THEY don't make enough money to sponsor that shit.. so yes, these is tax money being wasted. Tell me what sort of military / national security benefits there are from breaking a record like this, especially in times like these were fuel prices and CO2 Emissions are through the roof?

  • Just saw Jeff Corbis crash on letterman. He survived...barely

  • Even if it is tax payers money, they should be happy about this. If they send up 1 plane with people wearing this and dropping people off from a greater distance than having to go over where they are supposed to land and risk being shot down. Do yall complain about the military having to build more planes because theirs are getting shot down? They should make these with some sort of controllable arms so that the diver can use his hands to use a weapon of some sort.

  • Does anyone here that says TAXPAYER MONEY IS BEING SPENT have actually checked if it has? Maybe this was sponsored by a private party, maybe by the skydiver himself.

  • @alfredo8837 I don't think you understand they didn't do this SPECIFICALLY to set a world record... and honestly how much tax payer money do you really think this cost them? Don't even bring up gas prices for the plane they were in. They go up daily multiple times a day for training so that's irrelevant.

  • @dkrypto911 No shit that's obvious. But my question still stands "HOW is setting world records not a waste of taxpayer money?" we already have wing suits! we know the advantage and abilities! SO WHY WASTE MONEY TO SET A WORLD RECORD? i dont think you understood the question.

  • @alfredo8837 Tactical advantages. I'll let you ponder that for a bit. The world record was a secondary effect to this.

  • @dkrypto911 How is setting world records NOT a waste of tax payers money?

  • but can you do it like in saints row 3 ???

  • Called ODST
