  • Thanks for this helpful video! I was wonderding, if the LS-5 (which, next to the 11, seems to be the follow-up model - they have the same mics, as far as I know...) would be a good choice for me. I love the sound of that creek in your video. Clear and natural. Thank you very muchfor this and good luck capturing the coyotes ;)

  • @Pneumaurice Oh, thank-you so much for watching and commenting. I'm glad to hear there are other models out now too. I am amazed at how sensitive and clear the playback is too! Cheers, Brian.

  • Hi. I have the same recorder, but when I'm transferring it to my PC and playing my recorded files then I notice that the volume of the sound is lower than other sound files in my computer. Maybe you know the reason why?

  • @arturcikz Hi. On the side, are two knobs that control how loud your recordings will be: Mic Sense (microphone sensitivity) and Rec Level (Recording Level). Naturally some sounds are loud, and some are quiet, so select Mic Sense Low or Mic Sense High. Once you select which general range to record on, start recording, and watch the bargraph. Try turning the Rec Level knob. The sound file volume goes up or down as you turn Mic Level up or down. keep the bargraph in the middle. Brian.

  • great job, i think you done the recorder justice, i like what i hear.

  • @dalboyinoz Hey, thanks! Yeah, it's amazing how clear and sensitive it is. Brian.

  • Thanx fo your quick respond, Brian. I had controlled those knobs, but I didn't spectated the bargraph. I will try that. Thank you very much :)

  • @matt5295 Hi Matt, thanks for your comments. : )

I filmed the creek scenes at Portola Redwoods State Park. I filmed the blackbirds and bridge over the pond at Skyline Ridge Open Space. Both are in the Palo Alto, California area. Cheers, Brian.

  • The difference in audio from the video camera and the LS-10 is amazing.... nice video... What park were you in during this video?

  • @writerman242 Thanks so much for your kind comment! Yes, I love the portability and sound quality of the recorder. Not to mention the price. Good luck! Brian.
