This video shows the Sun passing behind the Earth, as would be seen by a geostationary satellite on the September 23 equinox of 2011; followed by the last rotation before that date where the Sun is not completely obscured by the Earth (September 1st); then by the first rotation after that date where the Sun again becomes no longer obscured by the Earth (October 11).
The point of this video is to show that a geostationary satellite does not, in fact, have uninterrupted access to sunlight (though it's only blocked for about an hour on the worst two days of the year).
