I have a friend that has one and he told me that the "Kriss Super V" is very finicky with to the brand of ammunition that it uses.

I see it as a cool novelty weapon, with a technologically advanced feature but I consider $3,100 + on a semi-automatic, long barreled, sub-machine pistol which only shoots certain brands of ammunition, inpractical and unjustifiable.

This guy must be shooting some like ++P .45 rounds because the recoil on these things is nonexistent normally... that or he's anticipating the recoil, which isn't unheard of.

@madmaxd1 Sure you bet. Maybe your buddy has one with parts that have since been revised. They made changes to address reliability after early production models had reliability issues. Updated bolt, Barrel contour, Slider, Updated fire control group, Hammer & Spur, Ejector block assembly, Replace a small quantity of out-of-spec ejectors. Mine was produced after all of that. I'd recommend your buddy calling Kriss and seeing how they could help out. I know its a hassle but I'd be worth it.

@madmaxd1 I Shot some Cheap Steel & Brass @ the range today. Videos are being uploaded now. I didnt have any problems but my buddy shot some immediately had two FTE's back to back. The guy is a magnet for failures LOL! Anyways my Kriss ate it up like I said it would. This makes only a total of 200rnd of cheap Russian ammo (I like to buy better stuff for pistols), but most of my shooting has been with White Box. So far its over 900 rounds without a cleaning & still running strong.
