Gaiasdream is a 71-foot Pacific proa, a traditional Micronesian sailboat that changes direction by "shunting" - moving its rig from one end of the boat to the other. Built as a long-range environmental expedition vessel, she is the world's largest sail-powered proa, able to carry six tonnes of cargo and up to ten passengers.
