Tegan and Sara Banter- 1st tour/My Number/Voice-mail

Tegan talks about how she wrote songs as finding other things to do "alone in her room." She says that she didn't really care what other people thought about it or if they liked it, so you could call it a "hobby." Tegan talks about writing "My Number" and how it was during a time when her and Sara didn't get along particularly well and they decided to move in together. Sara said they have lived together 3 times:
In the womb= not by choice

Living together in the same house growing up= weren't going to split them up because it wouldn't be fair.

3rd time= by choice.

Then Sara realizes that on the road as well= 4 times.

Tegan said that during this time she was depressed and didn't know what she wanted to do but knew that she didn't want to go to university yet, so she decided to give music a try :) Tegan talks about their first tour (a 12-day one) and how it was probably one of the most depressing tours. She said that the thing she was most excited about when she got home was checking her voice-mail... And she didn't have any messages :(
