San Francisco State University Protest - 12-09-09

Protest that occured on SFSU's campus on December 9, 2009 in which the Business Building was shut down completely-disabling students with Business classes from attending class (a lot couldn't take their finals or review for their finals), various fire alarms in other buildings were turned on forcing all classes in those building to evacuate (including mine while we were taking a final..thanks guys..), and just madness. This is some of my video footage of what occurred.

being dumb and pulling the fire alarms ruined a music concert in the CA building that took 20 years to finally be performed because of waiting for the right instruments. The ONLY time that piece was scheduled to play...lame.

The university system nationwide is trash. The threat of unemployment drives professors to teach useless canonical bullshit and a set of now obsolete utilitarian skills that don't guarantee shit once the fantasy of higher education is over. Why pay to be future consumers? College should teach us how to make society more livable not how to cope with debt and a doomed job market. Let's organize. Let's do it relentlessly until our needs are met. This is a university not a fucking business.
