This Cannot, That Cannot (2-6 Mar) - Watch the Trailer!

What happens when people keep telling you this cannot, that cannot? A volcanic eruption of truths hitherto bottled within, perhaps? Or perhaps you get paranoid, believing whatever rumors you hear? Maybe you even start questioning your own existence?

[And the following in a happy salesman voice]
To allay such worries and others (better left unspoken), some resort to coffee shop... chatter, just as others choose to be busybodies. Some descend into private solitudes of meaninglessness, whereas others are fortunate enough to find acceptance. Come watch a collection of short plays that attempt to find out the questions raised by these answers. It's bound to make you laugh, think, question; making for excellent coffee shop chatter afterwards.

klpac presents 'This Cannot, That Cannot', a collection of short plays directed by David Lim. 'This Cannot, That Cannot' showcases winners of the Kakiscript Playwriting Competitions organised by Kakiseni.com in 2007 and in 2009: 'Ini Tak Boleh Ni' by Rosheen Fatima, 'Bird Flu -- A Love Story' by Ho Sui-Jim, 'Breakfast with the Dogs' by Julya Oui, and 'Panacea' by Angeline Woon.

There will also be a restaging of 'Beautiful Mine' by David Lim (first staged in 2002), and a brand new piece by Shamaine Othman, 'I am, You Are'.
