This is the best version of "Elegy" anywhere on YouTube.. Just wanted you to know that you are one of my favorite, organist's on YouTube and Contrebombarde. You play with great control, thought and feeling.
I too have an organ with HW with the Skinner, the Metz, and Hinsz.
I would love to play this piece using the beautiful strings of the Cavaille-Coll and especially the strings of the E.M. Skinner. Could you send me in the right direction of where I can find the music to this piece? Thanks!

As a UK trained organist, who has been around awhile, it's difficult for me to admit that this is one of the finest performances (of this beloved piece) I've ever heard!

Thanks tbl! I've played this piece on Metz and record ih(but not on youtube) and I like it very but I think Skinner's soft stops are insuperable

Caro Carlo, è vero; penso che questo brano di grande poesia comunichi prima di tutto pace e "serenità".
Un esempio della forza di una semplice e bella melodia.
