Borsalino

A song called Borsalino, written by Claude Bolling and covered by the mighty Tommy Emmanuel, god of fingerstyle guitar. I love his music, his performances, his interviews, his jokes. He is my personal Hero, and im working to be as good as he is. My cover isnt perfect but im doing my best. Hope you enjoy it folks. ahh, yeah i broke my fingerpick(again...) and the local music shop just had those thin picks, i really dont like them. Dunlop for life!!

Borsalino was a 1970 French gangster movie with Alain Delon, Jean-Paul Belmondo and Catherine Rouvel and music composed by Claude Bolling. Tommys great arrangement of "Borsalino" is based on the central musical theme of the film that was played and repeated in many different contexts. Tommy heard the music realized its' fingerstyle potential and arranged this as a musical "gift" for Chet Atkins.
