If you were here
I wouldn't have to say a word.
I'd take you in my arms and you~
Would know what's in my heart~
I'll show what's in my heart to you.
If you were here.......If you were here.
If you were here~ How sweet this solitude would be
As we unfold the mystery,
And share the candlelight~Caresses in the night.
I breathe.~~~
If you were here....If you were here.
I close my eyes, ..surrender to a memory of love.
A song~ a secret melody.
And while we're apart, there's a longing in my heart.
My arms ache for you in this quiet solitude.
If you were here...If you were here....If you were here.
You're always here..
I wrote these lyrics to Per-Olov Kindgrens beautiful song.
This is a rough draft..recorded on my stupid web-cam,
The lyrics were inspired by my fathers grief when my mother died a few years ago..
My father told me he never knew how deeply he loved my mother and that the only comfort he could find in his grief was that my mother was spared the suffering that he was willing to bear....now That is true LOVE.
Dedicated to Per Olov and Marie.
Yes, Anna Maria....this a featured song from the King sequel we shall work on. Dang, it is inspiring and in a quiet moment after all the hubbub of the King's enormous funeral when Anna is alone and tearfully recalls the dance sequence with him. Then at the same time, she longs for Edward despite his womanizing and remembers his last glance upon his withdrawal. In that very moment she was torn but yet enraptured . It can be worked!
