@fretwellsm - As far as dates...yes Eastern (1849) is an older school than MSU (1855) but both bands started back in the late 1800's by student organazations. MSU - 1870 and EMU- 1894. Both seem to have a rich band history.

@fretwellsm - MSU's kick-step is a little different and dates back to their 1954 Rose Bowl appearance. How long has EMU been doing it?

@MrYourbiggestcritic Last I knew MSU did that little kick step or skipping onto the field. All college football entrances look the same when they have a tunel
