I'm curious to see if my taste will change that same way! Thanks for sharing all of the changes! :)

Yeah - it was weird! Let me know - Several other people had the same thing happen. It was good except I no longer wanted half of the stuff I bought pre-op.

We can't have creamy soups or juice yet. Tomatoes too acidic according to my surgeon. Everything has to be <3g sugar and 3g fat forever. Shoot they even told us not to do baby food...go figure. I am living on cottage cheese, carb control yogurt, eggs, chicken and fish. I miss salads. So glad you finally updated. I missed you!

I am going to avoid the tomato soup for a while; it was a little too harsh. I was told I could have gentle (low starch) cream soups and diluted juice. They gave me diluted v8 in the hospital on day 3. I love cottage cheese. I should probably adhere to the 3g fat/sugar rule. That sounds like a good one. I can't eat eggs though, they won't stay down. Fish and crab meat also wont stay down. Its wierd how my taste changed after surgery.
