Well this one is certainly worth sharing! How about biting the bullet and sharing some of what you don't rate and let the audience decide etc?

Thanks. I think the quote you're probably talking about is from the Air Force song...(Off We Go, Into the Wild Blue Yonder). I threw that in as a tribute to an old Army buddy of mine who is now an officer in the Air Force.

I want to hear more songs that you composed.

I'm not a very prolific composer. I've written a few things, but most of it is crap...not worth sharing...~L~

Very nice tune my friend...I like the way you play the theme...And you have a very great sound with your alto sax (great improvisation too !!)...Keep the same way of composition...It's simply beautiful :-) See you later my friend...GREG.

Great alto sound, very desmondesque, which as we all know is no easy feat. You seem to improvise so well on the alto, with nice bopping lines. The cannonball stone series are great, I nearly got an allbright one myself. Lovely stuff, keep it coming!

Thanks again, crazyman. There was a time that I wanted to sound as much like Desmond as possible. When it comes to sound, Desmond was always the man in my book, with Cannonball Adderley running a close second. Trying so hard to sound like someone else is a little foolish though, except for the fact that in the act of trying, you do learn how to manipulate your own sound which is extremely valuable when it comes to finding a sound that you can truly call your own.
