A safari to Ruaha National Park, second largest park in Africa, located in central Tanzania. This is an up close and personal view of native African wildlife species. If you enjoyed this video, please visit http://www.songeaskids.org. This organization is helping orphan children in southern Tanzania. Please sponsor a child today and visit tomorrow.
This was filmed at the end of October in the dry season when animals gather around water holes in the usually raging Ruaha River. I like this Park because of the limited number of tourists and vehicles so it is possible to watch the animals going about their usual activities without disturbing them. This stop was to find a safe safari activity at a reasonable price for volunteers who come to Songea to work with Jirani Mwema's at-risk children.
