  • I remember playing this game to death(still do). It's one of those "just one more try" things that just hooks like nothing else. The nastiest level, IMO, is yet to come though...The piranha-filled lake in stage 6(though admittedly, it has the third-funniest death sequence in the game to me...second goes to the pits in stage 3(shwip), and the best is the last stage's bridge drop...or maybe I'm just sadistic).

  • There's actually a really, kinda cheatingly easy way through the lake due to what I assume is either a genuine glitch or just a programming oversight. I'll be showing it off.

  • I don't think I ever managed to get past the first level of this game. First time I see what happens in the C64 games I used to play is on YouTube.

  • I rememebr playing this game forever. IT's funny I got the game because I had it on Atari..........to my surprise two completely different games

  • I remember watching my cousin play this once, and I wondered "what's the point? The game just kicks you in the teeth over and over."

  • I was never able to get through this game. But the game combined with that music was downright hypnotic. Bad game, but I still had fun with it.

  • If anyone ever wondered why the screen goes flashing when a C64 loads certain games, it is - If I remember correctly - because the games are compressed. the C64 could decompress it inside the RAM, but that would take too long - so the C64 is told to use it's Screen buffer to do that, because that buffer has faster response time. since that buffer is ALWAYS dumped to screen before being purged, you actually see the decompress routine working. Also, absolutely awesome vid! thx!

  • Wow - HUGE Blast from my past, love this game. Thanks for letting me relive my glory days as a child.

  • I loved this game
