@missweetp I wasn't clear. The wiki entry already has the date Gil joined. What it doesn't have is Gil's birth and death dates. Unlike most of the group. I wonder if there were other groups like the Hoosiers, Spike Jones, and the Korn Kobblers.

@uranrising I had noticed that! At hezzie dot com, there's a section for each member of the band and under the "Gil's Page" section, there's a bio that says when he joined (1943). My dad provided the info.

@missweetp Thanks so much for responding even after a long time. Only discovered the Hoosiers thanks to the relatd suggestions facility while watching Red Ingle or Spike Jones and discovering there were other such groups.
