This is an interview that Scottish Television did with my late and much missed Father in which he describes the role that he and his ORP Piorun shipmates played in defending the town of Clydebank during the infamous Blitz on the night of the 13th and 14th March 1941.
The interviewer makes a couple of mistakes in her commentary in that she mispronounces the ship's name, and secondly she states that "the crew were half Polish and half French". They were not French, but Poles from France. Anyway, if you would like to know more about who this remarkable old man was and how he lived, as well as others who are important to me, please feel free to have a look at the following site ... http://mineall.wordpress.com
