Great clip. I always wanted to see her fighting under hypnosis. There are some great examples of hypnofighting or hypnowrestling at Les Femmes Fatales site, owned by Robin. She has 3 or 4 hypnowrestling episodes for sale. Check out Hypnorap and Robin, or The Hypnotist. All of them are great.

@trlkly yeah it is fake. Real hypnosis would take much longer, unless someone uses rapid, which Jane isn't doing. Plus, the whole " I am not hypnotizing you, Lisbon" bit is messed up, because talking in negative term typically makes your subject less likely to respond to your suggestions.

@HypnoticPhantom Yeah, I've learned a lot since that comment. But I definitely say this seems fake. Something about it seems off.

Of course, it's a TV show. They didn't want to do it exactly right.

@trlkly Not necessarily you can trigger a trance by whispering like he did here. It all depends on how receptive the subject is to it. I, myself, hardly speak above a whisper and have had great success putting people under, even in noisy environments.

He proves he doesn't know what he is doing at the point where the word sleep was way too quiet. You have to overwhelm the senses with that stuff.
