How To: Jailbreak iPod Touch Using BlackSn0w RC3

In this video, I wil be showing you how to jailbreak the 3.1.2 Firmware using BlackRa1n using an iPod Touch 1G,2g & 3G. On the iPod TOuch 3G(9/9/09) the jailbreak is tethered which means everytime you install something that has to do with rebooting your iPod Touch, then you will have to re-jailbreak.
For the iPod Touch 1g & 2g, you can continue with this jailbreak as you would normally. Just follow the steps in this video or the steps listed below:
Jailbreak Steps:
1. Download Blackra1n: http://blackra1n.com
2. (optional) I would restore my iPod Touch 1G, 2G or 3G back to the 3.1.2 firmware.
3. Connect your iPod Touch to your Mac and close iTunes once it opens!
4. Once BlackRa1n is open, Click "Make It Ra1n"
5. Your iPod Touch should go into DFU mode and show GeoHot's bootlogo.
6. Once your iPod Touch is done loading and it shows the homescreen, open the Blackra1n app.
7. Click to install Cydia or Rock(DO NOT INSTALL BOTH AT THE SAME TIME)
8. Once you have installed Cydia or Rock, you can now using Cydia or Rock.
9. ENJOY YOU JAILBROKEN IPOD TOUCH ON THE 3.1.2 FIRMWARE!!!

@kikihaiti No, a jailbreak does NOT delete any data on your iPod Touch, but I recommend backing up your data in iTunes before you jailbreak.
