your dough looked a lot softer than mine. did you add some liquid other then the eggs? I also noticed some lemon peel?

@burnabytom my mom likes to add lemon to everything, if u like just add it... maybe it depends on the size of the eggs... it gets softer in the "kitchen maschine"... did u use "normal" butter or sth like margarine?
