Because the NFL owners make a ton money selling luxury suites. The Rose Bowl and coliseum have none. Besides those two stadiums are better suited for college football not the NFL.

The Chargers were in the AFL when they left, and at the time no one thought that the AFL and NFL would merge. AFL was considered to be the weaker league and never had many fans in LA. The LA Rams were in LA since 1946 and still have a loyal following to this day. People who say that LA can't hold a football team are obviously people that are not from LA

0 The Raiders left because they wanted the city to build a new stadium. In my opinion tax money should never be used to build stadiums. Rams left because after the owner died and left the team to his daughter. The Daughter had no intention to stay in the OC and wanted Anaheim to again pay for everything. The teams left not because there was a lack of fan support, they left because they couldn't get tax money to pay for new stadiums. Which is the same thing thats going to happen this time
