- Massive Fitness Concert Starring Pitbull & Wyclef
- Thousands of Dancers in Synchronized Performance Choreographed by Zumba Creator Beto Perez
July 2011 Orlando FL: Welcome to the Zumba revolution!
Thousands of "hip shaking" fitness instructors, fans, and celebrities grooved to the sounds of the Zumbathon Fitness Convention Concert starring Pitbull and Wyclef Jean in Orlando.
Amidst a kaleidoscopic explosion of color, light, and music, Zumba creator Alberto "Beto" Perez choreographed a synchronized performance with thousands of dancers to the fast and furious rhythms of Pitbull's "Pause" with Zumbathon-ers following the beat to "Go! Stop! Drop! Pause!"
Before the show, Beto, Pitbull, and Wyclef Jean appeared together on the Zumba red carpet.
What Is Zumba?
Zumba is Latin-inspired fitness program which combines elements of aerobics and dance. Incorporating a wide array of musical genres and dance styles, Zumba draws its influences from Hip-Hop, Reggaeton, Samba, Salsa, Soca, Merengue, Mambo, Martial Arts, and even Bollywood dance moves!
Zumba's "Accidental Origin"
The international phenomenon known to the world as Zumba was created by accident! In the mid-1990s, fitness instructor Alberto "Beto" Perez forgot his traditional aerobics music tape as he hastily prepared to teach a class. Beto rummaged through his backpack and improvised, using his own personal mix-tapes of salsa and merengue. Spontaneously, Beto created an entirely new kind of dance-fitness that focused on letting the music move the dancer rather than counting "reps" over the music.
Hip...and Healthy / Zumba Goes Global
Zumba is now taught in gyms and studios worldwide. The Zumba program has grown to become the world's largest -- and most successful -- dance-fitness program with more than 12 million people of all shapes, sizes and ages taking weekly Zumba classes in over 110,000 locations across more than 125 countries.
my little boy gives a high five to Beto at the end....wepa

Why I do not like Pitbull and I might be only one of the few who does not.
His lyrics are so inappropriate and I do not understand why people agree to it.
The music is good, his voice is ok. But no matter how much Zumba loves him or people, I still will keep my idea of no vulgarity to be listened at my house or classes.
If he cleaned them all I would consider listening to them. Women allow this and like it? no.
